Hi I’m Mark, an award-winning professional family photographer in Cornwall with a relaxed, natural/candid timeless style. I love to make the most of scenery and colour in my family photos.

Being a dad to two boys inspired my love for family photography, capturing their personalities with creative timeless images, they grow up so fast!

Half payment books me, remaining half due 1 week before the session. A full refund is given if you decide to cancel for whatever reason.
We check the weather forecast a few days before and agree the best time.
The edited images from the session are uploaded to a password protected website gallery where you can share with all your family, view and download images.
- 1 hour family photography coverage. Extended hours are available but generally 1 hour works best unless different locations are involved.
- Receive a minimum of 75 images hand-edited in my signature style,
- Professional website gallery - from your gallery you can download photos in full resolution, no watermarks - your images to do as you wish.
- Professional print options available within your gallery
- All photos backed up to the cloud for 4 years.
- Travel included within 20 miles of Falmouth - this includes beautiful locations such as Gwithian, Crantock, Holywell Bay, Porthtowan, Falmouth, Truro, Helford Passage to name just a few. Further afield travel expenses apply. Let me know the location and I will send you a quote.

As you can imagine, most family photography sessions I capture in Cornwall are on a beach - perfect for families, dogs etc.

As a Cornwall based photographer I've been all over Cornwall so I know the best locations for relaxed, fun and natural family photography.
Not only do I know the best locations in Cornwall but I know the best times of day for family photography. Whether it's golden hour shortly before sunset to soft morning light, we can work out the best time for your family photography.
My family photography style is very relaxed and candid/natural. Scenery plays an important part in my photography whether it’s coastal or countryside, Cornwall is blessed with stunning beaches, coastlines and woods.
Be yourselves and have fun as a family - that’s when the real magic happens and where the best images are captured.
I may see opportunities especially with natural light or scenery where I’ll recommend we make the most of, but apart from that, go have fun together and leave the rest to me.
I always include some relaxed group photos of you all together because these are the photos we always struggle to get ourselves if you’re anything like my family - one of you is always missing behind the camera, and selfies on a mobile phone just don’t cut it!
Do not worry if you're camera shy, most of us feel this way when a camera is pointed at us. As someone who is camera shy too, my family photography is very relaxed and candid and is all about capturing natural moments together, personalities…ignore me and the camera.
Run around on a beach, play games, have fun together without any awkward looking into the camera photos (you may want some group photos which i’m happy to capture).
The real magic happens when you're interacting naturally, the laughs, hugs, little moments of connection, I love to capture this and the different personalities, images that evoke emotions when you look back at them.
So please don't worry about being picture perfect or feeling awkward, have fun and embrace time with your family and trust me to capture all those beautiful moments.
With my family photography, it’s up to 20 people and dogs are more than welcome…they're part of your family too ; )
With two boys myself, I know how quickly children grow up and change, we really treasure our family photos taken by a photographer friend in Cornwall when our boys were little. The majority of family photography sessions in Cornwall take around 1 hour unless there are multiple locations involved but I'm happy to tailor photography for you.

Depending on the ages of any children involved, something to keep them entertained is always a good idea, for example if it’s on a beach then bucket & spade, football, aerobie, if windy a kite etc.
